Lately when I log in I've had to do it twice in order for my messages etc to show up.. although my login name appears at the bottom of screen in logged in users....???? anyone else had this problem, and why is this happening.. weird

How strange - not happening to me, I just stay automatically logged in all the time.

When was the last time you cleared you internet files and cache? might be worth doing that and seeing if it's still a problem.

clear your cache and be sure all recent updates have been checked for and downloaded. then reboot. should solve it. are you using Safari or Mozilla?
