Hi all,
just found this great forum and after a couple of hours lurking have already learned a great deal about feeding and health for Bengals.
We have two retired queens, Glitterglam Miss Popadom has been a pampered house pet since 2004, she's called Peshwari or usually Peshkitten these days. She's very laid back and a total softie, but is also the most vocal cat I've ever known! Pesh is being treated for a knee problem (clicky joint caused by bone "mouse") and is on metacam but otherwise is a v healthy older lady aged 11.
Wildside Alicia is coming up to 7 now and still acts like a kitten
we call her Kashmir at home and she's been with us since 2005.
Both girls are brown spotted, though Kash is a much deeper orangey terracotta colour, but Pesh has the most fabulous glittery coat!
Neither will deign to sit on your lap and I'd only attempt a tummy rub while wearing falconry gloves...a playful nibble or several
In the future we'd love to add a snow /silver boy ideally from kitten, I want to have a soppy lap cat
Anyhoo, pics to follow when I find the right cable to connect the camera
Looking forward to getting to know you and your cats
