My goodness! What an ordeal....! I'm so glad you went to the vet who knew what he was looking at---when Cash walked and when looking at the x-rays.

Has Cash's belly gone back to normal with the treatment too? Its good to know that a slipped disc and resulting awkward stance can cause the bladder to swell.

I always gasp when I see a thread mentioning a swollen belly.

Yeah he has been eating/drinking fine. Also using the bathroom regularly since he has been on the anti inflammatory. Before he was having a hard time going into litter box (due to his back legs), along with not really being able to move/walk. So I switch him to a lower one as a back up. It seems to be working when he does not want to use original.

A couple days ago he did not poop for 2 days and they said mineral oil will work if he still does not gone. So far it was just for those 2 days but I have it just in case. So there is a light at the end of this tunnel!

So glad to hear Cash is doing better...I hope he will be running up his cat tree again soon!
