One of our boys - Turi has an awful dry crusty nose. He always has it, sometimes its worse than others, but it never fully goes away. I feel bad since the other day it was cracked and you could see the red (blood) from it. We have given him his herpes paste to try to clear it up.

Anyway, yesterday I put vitamen E on it and seemed to help. So I did the same this morning. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

If it is bleeding then I would get some antibiotics from the vet as I would think it is infected.

Bengals can have a bit of crustiness around the nostrils, dried up 'snot' but with the bleeding that sounds more like it has become infected.

Well its not bleeding. Picture if you lips get really dry and cracked, thats what it looks like. So its not like blood is running from his nose by any means. When you look really close at his nose, you can see that its cracked in one place. Its also been very cold and dry here over the past couple of weeks, which I'm sure isn't helping. Thanks for the reply though.

Vitman E to the rescue!!!! Well after 3-4 days of putting Vitaman E oil on there noses, they are back to being healthy
