how long for coat to grow again after spaying?

It took a lot longer for Dolly's - probably a couple of months before it was close to normal again. The under fur grew back very quickly, but the longer, patterned layer took much longer.

cheers I thought that it must take that bit longer. Ive had other moggy's spayed but think their coats grew back much quicker.
suppose quality takes time :lol:

Katie was spayed in January and you can still see where she was shaved for the surgery. It's covered by fur now, but it's still a little shorter than the surrounding fur. She was spayed mid-line, so they shaved her belly and inside of her thighs. Her belly looks almost back to normal now, but you can still make out the shaving line on her thighs if you know where to look.

Binky had surgery on the back of his neck last summer. I would say his took probably 4-5 months to fully grow in again until you couldn't see the patch any more, but he's an older chap and his metabolism is probably somewhat slower than in a younger cat.
