How big is your cat?

Hi Spacegirl21,

Take a look on the gallery at Caramelo and Mr Brightside, two FANTASTIC
examples of male bengals, they both look like big boys!

Well I stated that he was 6.5 lbs and was hoping he put some weight on when I went to the vet last week. Well he was down to 6.4.

I have two 4th generation females, now 5 yrs old. One is just under 10 lbs, and the other is right at 11 lbs. I have read this is fairly normal for females.

I saw the father cat when I picked mine up... he looked like a Bobcat or a Lynx.... easily 25 lbs and not something I would want to meet in a dark alley! I have read that males can run close to 20 lbs.

I've also heard they can get pretty big. Ours is a 3rd gen male, 10 months old, and 12lbs now.

Our 2 boys are 10 months now. One is 12lbs and the other is 10lbs.

There is a bengal I know of that is related to mine that is 20lbs

Yeah i too have read that they stop growing when they're 2 years old - phew! :lol:

^20lbs!!! How old? :shock:

My male Bengal weighs in at just under 16lbs and the female is around 9-10lbs.
It's apparently common for the males to be quite a bit larger than the females.

My guy is a little over 15lbs and doesn't look it. He is just real tall and lean. They will grow for approx. 24 months. Bengals will obtain most of their hieght in the first 12 months and then will continue to fill in over the next 12.
