Hello everyone,
it is actually not a problem for me, but i wonder if anyone of you has noticed that by your cats. Maybe it is a problem for Bakari, as I have heard, that the whiskers are important tool for cats to know their surroundings. I have noticed, that while Atari has no problem with going through the cat door to the bathroom, Bakari does not like it so much - maybe his missing whiskers prevent him for knowing whether he fits through it?
When we picked up Bakari (from today 2 weeks ago), almost all of his whiskers were broken. Most probably because there were many cats to play by the breeder and most of them were mature and stronger ones. So this could have happened by playing a bit too roughly.
Now he only has some very short and broken ones - how long it takes to grow them back?
Also - he has only 1 eyelash now...
Is it so only because of the playing?

He'll be fine give it a few weeks, just ensure the doors are not nearly closed as you might hear a wallop !!!

aww bless him! my little shaman was the same with his whiskers...mum chewed them off!!
it can happen with rough play or from other cats over-grooming them, but they grow back fine & it shouldn't hold him back much

the theory about keeping the kitten near the nest is really interesting
i suspected playing, but didn't know, moms do that to the kittens themselves.
i also hope to see the whiskers grow back soon, as he looks so funny without any
