I am by no means suggesting that you should NOT vaccinate your animals but feel that this is an informative site & now that I have permission to post the link then I will, but just for education purposes. I'm not sure what to do, I will defo get the first booster but after that I don't know. Is a yearly booster really harming their immune system?

My issue with it is not the vaccination itself as I'm a fairly strong believer that they're effective - my issue is whether boosters are required annually. Very few human vaccinations are done that often (flu is, but only in vulnerable people) and I think drug company/vet economics are driving the recommendation rather than science.

To a certain extent though we're prevented from exercising full choice because of cattery annd insurance requirements for annual certificates. I know you can always choose not to board or to insure but I think those requirements get in the way of a proper debate.
