We have had our kitten for 2 weeks, he is 12 1/2 weeks old now. On Tuesday he started vomitting and diarrhea and became very sleepy and lethargic, completely against his fun and full of life nature.

On Wednesday we took him to the vet who took a stool sample and said he had coccidia. He gave him a shot and some pills for 5 days.

But since then he has not eaten a thing and hardly drank any water. We are also having real trouble getting the pills down him. Im going to take him back to the vets tomorrow for some blood tests, but in the mean time I am so worried and anxious. He just looks so sad and its heart breaking.

Has anyone else's kitten have this? What treatment did they have and did they recover ok?

Any advice to help him recover quicker and put my mind at rest would be much appreciated !

so sorry to hear you cat is poorly. I havent actually encountered that before, and i hope your kitten has a speedy recovery.
