Our Miles is just over a year old now and I picked him up today and his rear was wet - there was blood in the fur all around his anus... other than that he is behaving normally. He's had blood on his stool before but I've never noticed quite that much before. Our breeder told us to expect that Bengals have bouts of irritated colon (I guess it is?)... can it really get this bad!? He eats Orijen dry food... I wonder if it's time for a trip to the vet? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i would definatly be taking a trip to the vets...

irritated colon i could understand but blood to the extent that it has wet down his fur could suggest ulceration or something rupturing...
