well i have just booked an appointment to get goblin fixed on friday.

i know this is just me projecting or something but if you could see the sadly little look on his face at the moment. honestly he is looking at me with this "mummy, you betrayed me! dont you... love me any more?" look...

since he is the first cat i have had from a kitten, im not entirely sure what to expect. any hints etc. would be great

He just won't have any balls left, thats all

i more meant in terms of on the day, risks of surgery etc.

The hardest part for us when Mungo had his little boy operation was not feeding him before the surgery. Mungo loves his food and has such a sad little face when he realised he wasn't getting any breakfast.

He has a favourite vet and is such a purry boy with her. He was a bit grumpy when we collected him and wouldn't let the nurse remove his bandage so I had to do that. As soon as we got him home and he had some food he was right as rain and bouncing about like nothing had happened. Belle was hissing at him for the first couple of hours but I think that's normal after one has been to the vet and the other hasn't.

do you suggest steamed chicken and rice just from a "nice simple easy to digest" point of view? one of goblins fav treats is tuna steak poached in cat milk and mushed up, do you think that would be ok as a post op dinner?
