Enzo woke up this morning sneezing. He was not sneezing yesterday and his eyes, nose and ears appear normal. He has not gone outside or come in contact with anything different. He has sneezed multiple times this morning and appears just uncomfortable from it, just you would from an allergy or something. Only he has none that I know of.
Should I be worried? I read that this could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection, is this true? He has not come in contact with other cats, but I have. Even though I washed my hands and used hand sanitizer, is it possible I made my cat sick? The other cats seem fine. What could this be?

Do i get probiotics from the vet? Or any pet store?
I have an apt for Miura to get her microchip on Monday, I was thinking maybe I should just take him in and get it looked at. Just to be sure.

oh, haha. i did not realize they were from the same sources as for humans. That was foolish of me. He got worse for a day, and then appears to be getting slightly better. His eyes are clear, but the nose is running. I am taking him into the vet on Monday. It seems to me to be the equivalent of like a bad cold. Can that cause permanent damage within just a few days? Should I be more concerned?

Just an update for future readers, I took enzo to the vet today, and he is totally fine. The vet said it was just a viral thing and should run its coarse. That as long as he is eating and drinking normal and doesn't have a discharge, he should be totally fine. He seems better today. Playing and eating, and being more himself.
Miura on the other hand, had a hard time and did not apperciate the experience at all. i am lucky to have a vet that liked cats, he did a good job restraining her and keeping her claim for the exam and microchipping. You've never seen as angier feline, i kept thinking the people in the other room probably thought we were torturing her or something.

Belle had her micro-chip inserted last night and apparently she was as good as gold. I couldn't bring myself to go in case she cried so OH took her.
