losing weight/ragged coat

Hi
Our Bruno is 7 months old but the last week or so his coat has gone really clumpy and dull and he's losing weight. This happened about 4 weeks agoe when he got neutered and his 1st FeLV vaccinve, then he bounced back, the vet said he looked great at his 2nd vaccine, but now, 2 weeks after the vet visit he looks rough again. he's not eating much and sleeping a lot, but he is not being sick nor is there any diarrhoea.
I changed his wet food just in case they were getting bored but i am at a loss. Coco, our 7 month old Abyssinian is great and always has been super healthy, but bruno always seems to have phases of looking ill then bouncing back. Could it be worms? or a growth spurt? His eyes are bright and and he's alert, just a bit quiet and skinny.
Anyhelp would be appreciated. Got a vet's appointment for saturday just in case...

It does sound as if Bruno may need worming. Loss of weight and dull coat are typical signs.

I am sure he will fine after his next vet appointment; make sure he is drinking plenty of water in the meantime though as he sounds like he could be dehydrated

been to vet. she's concerned about his tummy and he's going in on monday for an xray and blood tests. she mentioned FIP, so i'm really really worried. She's not sure its worms cos he's a housecat but we've wormed them anyways today(bloody nightmare, the liquid i thought would be easier but they hated it!)

This must be such a worrying time for you, keeping everything crossed that Bruno makes a full and speedy recovery. Are you in the UK or the US?
I have read that the FELV jabs can make them poorly and if you vet says it is FIP please get a second opinion. from what you have said there dont seem to be any FIP symptoms?
