Betula has been to the toilet twice just now and it was quite loose with blood in it Ive only had her since Monday she has been a few times they have been loose but ive put it down to stress. Shes on felix (which eventually i will change!) and royal canin

Don't worry to much Begals are well known for having slightly lose stools when stressed or in a new enviroment, You could cut back on the food slightly for a day or two & just give her dry food, have a look through the health care thread & the nutrition thread ... if you need any other advice or support feel free to PM me....It'll be fine...Its a learning curve for us all.

depending on how much blood was present...a very small amount is not too much to worry about, but keep a very close eye. is the felix & royal canin the same as what she was on in her previous home?

If your Bengals are loose stooled regularly and have been treated for coccidia, giardia, worms, they may have IBS or colitis. Blood in the stool indicates an irritation/inflammation of the intestines. A good food to use until their stomachs are settled is Royal Canin Intestinal GI32. It is a prescription diet food but you can get it from www.hyperdrug.com. If your cat has a food sensitivity issue (I have a couple) try Royal Canin Sensitive, again prescription diet from hyperdrug or Eagle Pack Holistic Duck and Oatmeal www.postalpetproducts.co.uk
