Yes they are delicious !
Please be careful with them, we had an incident when Clive found an opened packet of them and ate who knows how much ,he then suffered a bad case of diarrhoea for 3 days, vomittinang and extreme thirst.
I now try to keep those below 10 per day and hide the packet away.

Purina Veterinary Diet Feline FortiFlora Nutritional Supplement

Hi Guys,
any reviews on this product ?
We seem to like it a lot .
My only worry that it is made by Purina , the manufacturer of a **poor quality cat food.
Any other opinions?

thanks

I have three boxes of the FortiFlora and sprinkle it daily on Raiden's food. The vet sold me packets when Raiden had a parasite and soft stools that continued after the parasite was gone. It made a difference in the stool -- now he seems to ignore the food when I put an entire packet on there, so I open a packet and sprinkle a little on each time I feed him. I'm happy with the product. I believe Purina is manufacturing better quality food these days.

oh thanks !
how long have you been giving it to him ?
I read somewhere it should be given in cycles , ie 30 days cycle then break; then repeat etc.
thats what bothering me a bit to be honest.

The vet told me to continue using it -- didn't say anything about stopping. I believe the product can be used daily. Many humans take a daily probiotic. There are many feline probiotics on the market -- glad you found one that is working.

I finally opened a packet over the weekend and tried to chop the comforts flea medication pill small enough to fit inside them, but they are way too small. I gave one of the treats to Blondie and a short time later she threw up her breakfast! She never throws up.

Update :
Pro-Kolin + still rules .Reduced dosage a bit, i recon to 0.5 ml a day and it works better for us
I am managing to dissolve paste in the water and mix it into smelly fishy food as it appears without Clive noticing.
0.5 ml a day is easier to hide too..

We also went onto trying G/I food for 10 days . We tried :
1.Royal Canin G/I wet and dry foods;
2. Katovit G/I turkey .

This has been a partial success, not as good as Pro Kolin+ i must say.
I was expecting better results from Royal Canin however Katovit surprised me this time .
Will keep dry Royal Canin G/I for snacks and continue with Katovit for some time
