I'm not sure what they do to them at the vet - might be the disinfectant hand wash that they use - but EVERY time Linden is at the vets our Australian Mist won't have a bar of her except for growling and hissing at her. She always smells a little antiseptic-ish and he HATES it. We can usually smell it on her for a few hours, but he takes a day or two to calm down before he'll cuddle her again.

How long has it been since you got her home? I'd say she just smells different and needs a little time to return to her normal self before he'll admit she's the same ol' Rosie that he knows and loves.

Thanks guys for your replies. I kept them separate last night just to give her a bit of peace and quiet and today they've not even looked at each other so there's been no hissing and growling. I can't smell the vets on her anymore so hopefully he'll soon remember her again and they can go back to being the best of mates.

She got given a dinky wee collar cos she's so small but she's not daft, she'd figured out how to get it off within about 2 mins so I left it off when we went to bed.
