My bengal snow boy went walkabout recently and returned two days later with severely broken jaw vets say he was kicked he is healing well from his broken jaw. However I have the problem I want to let him out wen healed but want him to go outside as he teashes the house and being a baby needs to run. I am thinking of get my garden cat fenced so he enclosed in my garden . Have seen ones with long brackets attached to original fencing stopping them leaping out. Could anyone with any experience please let me know views . Am looking for company in uk and not too expensive although I know it's I. The hundreds lol dawn and Cosmo my snow leopard

Just know that there is no fence that is 100% cat proof -- not even the Purrfect Fence. Cats are very persistent creatures, especially if they want OUT! Some people here use electric (invisible) fences, but I've heard stories on pets who get out when they lose the device or the battery dies! I would suggest a cat run or cat enclosure. They are much smaller and much more secure. There is obviously someone who doesn't care for cats and you want to make sure your kitty does not get off your property again. Trying to keep a cat indoors is not easy when they are used to the outside. You can buy a harness and leash and take your kitty for walks. Many of us do it -- I do it twice a day. Mine also has a cat enclosure. He was an outdoor cat the first six years of his life, but kept getting into horrific cat fights! You're doing the right thing in trying to keep your baby safe. If you just Google "cat runs" or "cat enclosures" you can find so many ideas! They can be large or small, but they all have wiring on all sides and the top, so the cat cannot escape.

I'm sorry Dawn, but I would just keep him inside, either indoors or in a cat enclosure as suggested by Sherry. If he goes walkabout again, expect similar or worse results.
You may just never see him again.
