A few days ago Titus, my 6 month old snow, appeared to be sticking his tongue out but upon closer inspection I noticed his lip was swollen. Overall he is acting the same, and doesn't seem in pain. When I touched his lip he didn't mind. I did change their food over the last week but he doesn't have any GI distress. His paws don't have any lesions, his skin isn't red and irritated. Just his lip. Gonna take him to the vet Friday, but has anyone had this happen? Any ideas?

Could he have had a bite or sting from something?

Looks like maybe he bumped his chin/jaw on something. Maybe he was trying to jump onto something and didn't quite make it?

Does he scratch his chin or neck? One of my cats scratches her neck and chin and I noticed something similar the other day

You changed his food? An allergy to an ingredient in the new food perhaps?

Could be feline acne. If a pore gets infected it can swell up HUGE.

It happened to one of mine. I could touch it for a few days and then it got painful and Max got all snotty with me. I thought it was a problem with one of his teeth. Took him to the vet, a tech held him down, the vet pressed it, and it exploded everywhere. It was disgusting, but boy does that cat love the vet now.

I would keep am eye on it and have the vet take a look at it if it gets bigger or is causing your cat problems.
