Magic has always done this, several times a day he will do a dry retch, does anyone know about this or has heard about it

Raiden has done this a time or two -- nothing comes up. I think they are just trying to clear something that may be in the esophagus. In fact, I think I've done it once or twice in my life! I don't think it's anything to worry about unless it happens continuously.

My Bengal was doing that for a while and progressed to Masticatory muscle myositis, you may want to keep an eye on her to make sure it is not a problem with her jaw/mouth
