Here's an update for Thor, it's been 2 months since he broke his hip and had surgery. He's doing absolutely fantastic (knock on wood). He's back to his old curious, happy go lucky, hyper self. Yesterday he jumped about 6-7 feet down from his cat tree with no problem. He hardly has a limp, and he's getting along fabulously with his sister Scarlett. I'm so glad I decided to have the surgery although I wish the whole situation didn't happen! Oh both babies are officially 11 months old now! I think Thor is gaining back his weight too he's probably around 13 lbs now.

Owch, I'm really glad that he recovered, but it would really worry me that he was doing that, as I've had healthy cats hurt themselves doing that. 13lbs of cat hitting the floor from 7ft is quite an impact. Is there a way down from the tree that doesn't involve such a plunge?
