Just returned from a weeks holiday to find out that Monty (9 months) has practically starved himself whilst in the cattery. He has lost a lot of weight. We thought at first it was because he was pining for us, but after 2 days at home there was no improvement. He is really lethargic, just wants to sleep all the time on my knee, cries constantly and still not really interested in eating much. Took him to the vet today and they could feel a hard immovable lump in his abdomen. He is back tomorrow for blood tests, a scan and a possible laparoscopy. Can't believe it as he seemed absolutely fine before we went away. I am so worried about him, has anyone else experienced this?

Poor guy! I'm so sorry he's not feeling well. Hopefully the vet can get it figured out quickly.
