I've passed that info along to our vet, thank you Elaine.

Diesel jumped on the sofa about 8 days ago without any assistance or encouragement

He had a recheck a week ago and his blood work showed his infection is now gone and everything else looked good as well. The doctor lowered his exam table to chair height and he jumped right up there no problem at all. So we put him back down and raised the table a little and he jumped up again. Since then we've been encouraging him to jump with toys and treats and he's jumped up on our bed at least 4 times without any issues (our bed is pretty tall). So it seems like he's on the mend, finally.

He's also fully back to his spunky self, getting into everything in the house and being a little ball of energy. We have taken da'Bird out of hiding and the Bengal acrobatics are definitely back in full effect. He's not stumbling in his rear end any more like he was.

We're keeping a close eye on him and our vet is keeping his chart handy while he reaches out to Prof Moore and a US vet who has done some research on Bengal Polyneuropathy.

That is excellent news, I'm so pleased for you! Such a worry when our fur babies are not themselves. x
