Hi , Any advice please Ben has just come back from vets after having leg stitched under anaesthetic. Trouble is he won't settle he is still confused but is racing round the house in a panic and head butting doors to try and get out I am scared he s going to hurt himself. He is wearing a collar to stop him chewing his stitches and I think this is really spooking him, it seems big and he can't see properly. Not sure I can deal with this till Friday.

My cat did the same when he had a cone on, it took him a while to sort himself out with it on.
Just try to confine him to a smaller space if possible.
My boy had his on for 2 weeks, drove us both nuts, but it had to be done.

Thanks, we have taken cone off for a bit so he could eat, vets advice, he has hidden himself under the sofa so not eaten ye,t will try and put it back on before bedtime, he is quieter now. Looks like me and eldest boy might be staying up with him tonight.

Yea, there is something about the anesthetic that really revs their motor when they get home. Both my bengals were like that, but only the first day.
