Hi guys, i recently posted about my 6 month old Bengal boy not going to the bathroom, we have had him for a whole week now.
Into day 3 we were EXTREMELY worried as we hadn't had any movements since having him, off to the vets we went, did testing, no crystals or anything in the urine to show illness etc, but doc wanted to keep him over night just incase, in the morning doc said she thinks its stress related, doc prescribed 2mg valium, a stressless diffuser & 0.3ml anti inflammatory liquid to be administered morning ( half tablet) and night (rest of tablet). Got him home, seemed perfect, eating correctly & FINALLY used his litter first a runny poop and then a wee. so far into the week (after visit) he seemed back to what i thought was normal.
Yesterday was a different story.
Food at 10am with meds, we leave the room for him to eat and wait 20mins before re-entering i find two piles of vomit, so we changed foods at the nightly feed at 7:30pm with the same issue.
Today he has eaten a small portion and drank what i believe to be plenty of water but no bathroom movements, i am so so sad at the moment and feel like such a horrid parent, i have changed litter, took lid off, back on, clean it, put him in it, played with it and still nothing from our boy.

I feel like i have got a sick kitten before buying him, but breeder assumes no sickness had occurred. vets are very expensive and i feel like a tight ass saying so, but should i wait and just see if he goes or should i call the vet back in the morning.
Please help.

Call the vet back. Keep your breeder informed, even if he denies kitty illness.

Could it be possible that he goes somewhere outside litter box?
Try not to introduce too many changes in one go. Do step by step if possible

A week in can still be a very stressful time for a kitten.

Give him smaller meals. If he is eating too fast and/or too much, he may vomit. If he is eating litter or has eaten part of a toy, he may vomit and/or have an obstruction (which is a major problem!!). Check to see if he is dehydrated (google it, there is a simple test you can do). Dehydration is a major problem as well. Look for signs of nausea, as that can be indicative of a serious problem as well. I would call the vet and ask after how many hours of no peeing or pooping you should bring him back. And after how much vomiting. Have you had a fecal test done? That will tell you if there are any parasites or critters in his intestine.

How many consecutive days did you have good eating and littering? I would leave his poo and pee in the box so he knows it is "his" box by the smells -- don't be eager to clean it out for him right away.

Hi guys again thanks for all your input! I appreciate it!
We did take our boy to the vet yesterday because we were super stressed about him not using bathroom or eating properly, vet have him some anti bioctics to be given with meals (fasted for 24hrs) fed this morning with only a 1/4 of what we normally give him and guess what! He is fine today, eating better, better overall everything. Again the vet results didn't show any urine problems inside he apparently does have a little runny poop but the vet said not to be concerned because he does suffer from anxiety.

I don't think he is going anywhere else in the house / safe room we watch him like a hawk at the moment just to see his behavior around the house and where he likes to jump, I don't think he could have eaten a toy as I do a nightly pick up of toys and they go in his toy box.

As for money concerns yes I know vet bills are terrible expensive, but as you guys said it needs to be done, the breeder is excellent with is regarding his health, she has helped pay half of the first vet visit ($500.00). I'm just such a worry head at times and only want the best for any animal, especially our dear boy. I will look into pet insurance soon I think. Thanks again!
