Hi

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for letting me know of the dangers of lilies before it was too late.

You just possibly saved Rio and Chilli from almost certain death or at the very least kidney damage by warning me.

This is important info for cat owners! I knew about Pointsettias and some ivy plants, but had no idea that lilies were so lethal... Thanks for the big heads-up, Brianj12!

Lisa - Glad that Chilli is feeling better - and it wasn't something caused by the flowers!

yup and I wish it was more common knowledge. I've noticed that Sainsburys (uk supermarket) has started marking their lillies as harmful - just wish they'd change it to poisonous!

I have friends who bring me flowers which is lovely - I politely pop them in a vase and then shut them in my guest room (where the cats aren't allowed) and then the next day I take them to my office. If my friends ask I tell them that I spend most of my day in my office so that is where I will see the flowers most and be able to enjoy them.
Lets hope none of them see this post!
