i hope she is ok. drinking water is good. did the vet recommend anything for her to eat?

Hi Sysh,

I'm sure that Cybile will be absolutely fine. A common cause of vomiting blood is worms, but obviously you have ruled this out! There are many causes including gastic ulcers although this is highly unlikely.

I wouldn't worry though, as an isolated incident is quite common in cats so you and Cybile will have nothing to worry about! :wink:

Thanks a lot for your replies guys, really appreciated! :)

She seems not bad today, not really playful but I guess it's normal. She ate twice today without vomiting, canned food only. The vet sold me Hills cans but she sniffs it and go away. So I give her usual Eaglepack ones and she eats it ok for now. I'm waiting to see her goes...well you know where! I took my day off and nothing bad happened. She is more cuddling than normal poor girl! I hope it will be ok now!! :)

But you know, blood... we cannot take any chances! :shock: :shock:
