Hello all,

I have a one year old female Bengal. Her poo is firm and normal until the end, when it becomes soft, to the point we have to wipe her bottom to prevent poo going everywhere.

There is no diarrhoea or blood and she is incredibly regular (between 2 and 2:15pm everyday).

I have tried her with different brands (Bozita, Royal Canin, Whiskas pouches and Encore biscuits). She does not have any milk or cat milk in her diet either.

This has been happening for the past two months.

Any suggestions?

Hi

Just to be on the safe side I would have a sample tested for any parasites and have a word with your vet. He may know what could be the cause of this.

Any news? Did you go to the vet?

No chance to get to the vet unfortunately and I haven't had any success trying to find out what the issue may be.

Vets will be the week after next due to commitments and a lack of appointments.

Very strange - her poo is perfectly healthy until the very end of her 'movement'. It's as if a residue is coming out. She's perfectly fine otherwise though. Playing lots, very affectionate and her coat looks very healthy.

Hi

This could be colitis. You really need to get this checked by a vet.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
