She looks so sad! I really hope you can get her help, I know what its like to have to come up with that kind of money for a pet, when times are tough you are sometimes forced to make difficult decisions! Hopefully you can find a vet that will allow you to make payments. Please keep us posted! !!! This is such a heart breaking story I sincerely hope you can get help! I am not sure where youare located but here in the states we have a credit called Care Credit andits an interest free credit card for medical/vet bills! It has been a life saver for our family!

I guess the "flipping bird" is directed at those who didn't believe... which I guess in "some" respect we deserve it, but ya can't fault us for your mistake. Why would you post a pic of a cat that's not yours when all ya had to do was take a pic like ya did and post it? Just seems odd if ya ask me... understandable that it's still a marbled Bengal but still doesn't make sense.

Anyway... I still suggest what I said in my first reply. Call around to whatever area your from and ask for help, that is if ya haven't already asked your vet about setting up a payment arrangement.

I take it you still haven't taken to the vet? No mention whatsoever of how the cat is doing. If your story is true, your cat needs help now. Instead of posting pics of another cat off a website and arguing on this forum, your cats health should be a priority

Yea the two pics they posted last are legit. I pulled them off the site and looked at the info on them and they were taken today using a Samsung camera.

And yea doing "something" should have been priority #1 no matter what. We aren't talking about a cat with something that can be ignored or put off for a little bit. If we were talking about a little scratch etc etc... this could be a life threatening condition and it's already a life changing one and the longer they wait, the longer the poor cat suffers and might possibly get to a point that could be too late to actually help... then it's all about quality of life.

Myself... as soon as that vet mentioned the price I would have asked about payments. If they said no... I would have asked if they might direct me to someplace that could help me. If that failed I would immediately went home and had my head buried in a phone book or online looking up any and all vets and animal hospitals that were local and been calling them one by one asking for help and or asking if they knew someplace that could help and I would have kept that up and worked my way further and further away from my home till I found some help.

There are places that will help, trust me... a friend of mine's cat got a really bad URI a few months ago and if I hadn't of stepped up and did as I mentioned above with calling and asking for help... without a doubt his cat would not be here today. I actually got lucky after posting my friends issue along with pictures and video's of the sickly thing on my Facebook page and someone I only know from online ended up calling a local vet and used their credit card to put $350 into an account for my friends cat.

When there is a will... there is ALWAYS a way...

What angers me is that he posted on here for "help" but put a fake picture up and took a few days before angrily posting a real pic of the cat in question and ranted at us for not believing him but made NO mention of how the cat is now or what his plans are to help the cat. Why bother asking for help if you aren't going to do anything anyway? He must have realised, surely, that the first thing people would suggest is to ask for help with paying the vet fees or ask family members if they could help.

Also, I struggle to understand why he has no pet insurance. Nowadays, it is a necessity (unless you have thousands spare to spend if your pet sadly needs help).

I hope he lets us know the outcome of the poor little cat and I really do hope it's a happy ending.

My heart goes out to this poor cat if it is injured.
YES - We all know better, and have insurance or enough money set aside for these contingencies, or means to borrow.
BUT - The cat needs help!

To the OP - Please do see your local cat rescue or charity to ask for help. If you are unemployed, then tell them and ask for help.
Personal pride when your cat is injured is not worth fighting over - Just go ask for help. Have you got anything you can sell to help raise funds?

Did your vet not think an x-ray worthwhile in the meantime? That would show if there is a break causing the paralysis, which would be good to rule out at the very least.

Fingers crossed you can get the help needed ASAP! Do please update what is happening, as people on here are genuinely worried about poor Ginger.

There is nothing unusual in not posting here for a long time and then come back when help is needed. I find I do it too -only post when need help or advice.
The priority is a cat so lets just focus on it and leave all the past picturs/posts out.
OP please let us know whats the progress with your girl.
I ll pray you find a solution for her.she is very sweet girl.
