Has anyone used pregabalin, or know of anyone who's used this drug in cats?

and on a trial and error basis if it treats Lilly's 'broad/strange' 'feline hypersethesia syndrome'. sorry for all the 's haha, they are diagnosing it as FHS, although shes not classical FHS, so they reckon she's a broad/strange type of FHS and as it's quite a grey area in veterinary medicine, they can't pinpoint it to anything specifically.
We may be starting her on it tomorrow, or Monday (whenever the vets get it) along with an anti inflammatory (non steroid!!! YAY!) for two weeks, if she has no improvement, then we are adding another tablet in to the mix, if that doesn't work then she comes off everything and twitches for the rest of her life it seems.
She's started shaking her head now, paw will move up with the twitch and she's grooming a bit more, she is actually starting to display more FHS symptoms although not episodic, continuous whilst awake.
Due to the head shaking she went to the vets to have her ears checked out, that's all fine tho, so at least that's one thing :)
I love my two cats dearly, but they're hard work when it comes to medical/vets. (two posts about different cats in a few mins!)
Can't wait for everything to be normal, whatever that is!
