Daisy, still has rather smelly poo, although she has firmed up, still eating like a pig though. My vet wanted to run another fecal panel and its come back with really high levels of e.coli, so he's now getting a PCR ran on it all. As he said, it's normal to have e. coli found, but her's are quite abnormally high, so trying to find the cause.

Anyone had/heard of this? Possibly know what's causing it?

Hiya, yes have had this picked up in a test - same time as my cat tested positive for Salmonella. The Ecoli is naturally occurring which is correct.

The long and short of it is there is good Ecoli and bad Ecoli - your vet will need to identify which has been found. Luckily ours was a good growth of Ecoli so there was no further treatment.

Fingers crossed Daisy is the same.

Yeah that's why the pcr is being done. See if it's good or bad! He's also going to get her tested for tf since they're doing a pcr.
