The samples have been sent off, but the antis worry me.....if DEFRA recommends other solutions, maybe we should try another vet....
What would happen if we simply stopped giving them antibiotics? Some other treatment will have to replace it, I assume, so we need another visit anyway....it is so hard to be dragging them around, they are scared enough...

I wouldn't rush off to another vet just yet. I really do think you need to let your vet know you are confused by both the diagnosis and treatment given and allow them to respond.

Metronidazole and Panacur are both recognised treatments for Giardia. Panacur is the current drug of choice as some of the strains of Giardia have grown resistant to Metronidazole. However it isn't altogether unheard of for both to be used simultaneously to improve chances of treating Giardia in one course. I know of a number of US breeders who take this route. Metronidazole is also an anti inflammatory which may help sooth the gut. Important with treating Giardia is housekeeping. If you haven't already please do contain your kittens to an area. The only thing that kills Giardia is heat. It can be notoriously persistent and it's important you are able to deep clean the area the kittens have access to with boiling water as well as their litter trays.

I do understand Salmonella has also been confirmed for which I agree the advice is not to give antibiotics. I suspect your vet feels it is untenable to leave your kittens untreated for the other issues whilst you wait on salmonella to resolve but you should discuss this with them including any risks. It may be on balance the best thing to do for the kittens is to treat for the things you can.

Dealing with parasites and bacterias is very frustrating and upsetting for kitten owners and it is unfair this burden is being passed over by breeders. I can only encourage all future bengal kitten owners to ensure you buy from a breeder who is routinely testing their Cattery for such things and can show the results to you. It isn't 100% but I suspect we would see the number of posts like this reduce and you would know your breeder was trying to do the right thing (which is really important).

Mine were treated with Panacur to sort the Giardia whilst we awaited the results of the TF test and then I treated the TF after with RDZ.
My cats samples were sent to Germany for testing. TF although not new in this breed is unfimilar in the grand scheme of all the other things that our lovely kitties can get. Vets are therefore quite uneducated (i'm not tarring all vets the same, but I'm speaking from experience).

I was extremely lucky to have a vet that listened to me when I said about TF after finding this forum and he went away and did his own research - he was shocked to see how this is on the increase in (prominently) pedigree cats - someone on here might correct me but I think the Siamese breeds suffer with it too.

Regarding the samonella - I think the treatment of this needs to take a back seat. By this I'm not saying its less important but if you stop the Giardia, stop the TF then the risk of spread and worsening of the samonella will decrease.
A decent quote about samonella is -

There are more than 2,000 different types of Salmonella, a Gram-negative enterobacteria. Typically, a host animal carrying the disease will have two or more different microorganisms or types of Salmonellae bacteria that cause this disease.
Risk factors include the cat's age, with younger and older animals most at risk due to their underdeveloped and/or compromised immune systems. Similarly, cats with weak immune systems or immature gastrointestinal tracts are at risk.
Cats receiving antibiotic therapy are also at risk because the healthy bacteria that line the digestive tract (or florae), may become imbalanced, increasing the risk of salmonellosis.

Regarding your results of Feline Coronovirus aswell - I'm really sorry to hear that. I know little about that so will let another member give you some advice there.
