We woke up this morning to find a nice trail of cat sick through the flat. We soon discovered the culprit was Dexter as Chris saw the poor little thing throwing up. I had to go to sign up with two agencies and Chris had to go to work so we decided to see how he fared over the next couple of hours.

I got back home and Dexter went to use the Cat Litter tray and it was like water so he has sickness and diarrhea. Rang the Vet and managed to get an appointment for 12:00.

Got to the Vets, ended up waiting 30 mins for the Vet!

Finally got seen and Dexter was given two injections and has to have poached white fish or Chicken for the next few days and I have something called Pro-Kolin + to give to him three times a day too.

Question is do I start giving it to him 3 times a day today or wait till tomorrow because of the injections he has had?

Awww poor baby.
Hope he gets well soon. Can't help on the medicine but if i was you i would just ring and check with the vet

Yuck, how nasty for Dexter and you guys. Hope he feels better soon! Sorry, I can't help on the medication question, I too would just call and ask.

I hope little Dexter gets to feeling better soon! I am sure if you call the vet, they will let you know about the meds. Give little Dexter a pat on the head for me and well wishes for a speedy recovery.

Gem, you can start giving Dexter the Pro-Kolin straightaway. It won't interfere with his injections and is totally safe; it's just a probiotic paste. I would maybe start him on it tonight
