As he seems ok in himself, i would say it's probably nothing to worry about, it might be any number of factors - central heating, lower body temperature due to the cold, etc.

William has got a bit of a dry nose at the moment, but he too seems ok in himself. he's running around like any crazy Bengal should be.

A cat is supposed to have a moist nose, not wet, yet not dry, but in between.

If you're at all worried, or his behaviour/appetite etc changes, it might be worth getting him checked at the vets.

I'm not overly worried just seems odd if he was acting funny or not eating he'd already be at the vets

i would agree with spotsnstripes, as long as the nose is the only noticeable change, it's nothing to worry about.

i find the central heating is a big factor, my willow suffers from it at times. she used to have trouble at shows as the halls can get incredibly hot & stuffy & the first sign for her was always her nose drying out.

keep on your guard, make sure he is getting enough fluid & is not dehydrated, but if nothing else changes he will be fine

Is it worth putting some Germonlene or something on it for him or will it just get better on it's own?

Sammie usually has a pretty dry nose but she seems to act normal so I don't worry. She sleeps a lot so I figure it's just dry because she's all warm and sleepy.

A dry nose is common with cats that eat dry food!! They can become a bit 'scabby'; just smear a tiny blob of vaseline or similar Nothing to worry about though; very normal if the cat is otherwise healthy
