How much does your Bengal weigh?

Man, I'm almost embarrassed. And they have to go back to the vet for their annual in a few weeks.

Faust weighed 16.9 (7.7 kg) pounds last year at the vet's... he was 2 at the time.
Max stood on the scale by himself at the house... it read 15.2 lbs (6.9 kg)... at just over a year old.
Our boys are huge. Their mutual ancestor is a BIG boy (20 pounds, last I heard)... Florida Bengal's Lord of the Rings.
Max's father is long and lanky, but very muscular. Max has that damn pouch that hangs down and makes him look odd.
Faust is just think. He turned two and thickened up a lot.

Our boys were at the vet yesterday for shots. They are 14 weeks old. One weighed 2.5 lbs and the other was 3.5.

My big red bengal boy Teddy is now 10 months exactly, just had him neautered yesterday and he weighed in at 5.1kgs - its such a hunk, very long in the body and a lean muscle machine! We let him grow into himself before taking away his manhood. I can already see the difference in his behaviour too, he's so much more affectionate and now has less of the attitude - "don't touch what you can't afford - Im the big man".
Luna his silver sister is so much smaller, I think about 3.6kg, my partner keeps saying she's the runt of the litter but the difference in :lol:

picking either of them up is amazing - sack of sugar versus a feather!

BB has actually slimmed down some! She went from nearly 13 pounds to now weighing 11.8! Jasper on the other hand has nearly doubled in size since we have got him! He went from 7 pounds to 12 pounds :eek:

I don't know if that's good or bad but he was certainly underweight when we got him! I have now had to cut his food back a little because he is getting a little hefty :wink:

We had our guys checked out at vet yesterday.............. our 13 week old male kitten weighed 1.69kg (approx 3.7lb), and is expected to be quite large,

our 3 year old girl was 5.2kg (approx 11lb), and we were told to watch her weight as she has a round belly and a good covering over her ribs! We only got them both on Saturday, and have to say, she has always had access to lots of food, and seemed to eat quite often whenever we went to visit her in the few weeks before they came home................ she also had kittens, a caesarean and was spayed 7 weeks ago...................... and weight gain, as far as i understand, is quite common after all of these procedures, so we arent yet worried.

My female Bengal just got weighed two weeks ago when she got spayed. She was four months old and 5.6 pounds. The vet said she is large for her age and she will be a really big cat. She is completely healthy and the vet said she is a good weight for her size. It just depends on the size of the cat.

Baby Zeus is 6 months old and weighs 11.5 pounds :eek:

, his aunt Zillion is 2 1/2 years and weighs 10.5 pounds. Both are quite muscled and sleek. I hope Zeus gets to be 15# or more...and at this rate he will.

Yep, my female that is 10.5 pounds does not look huge at all, it's just pure muscle. My cats go for runs and climb trees a few times a day on harnesses though, very very active.

My 2 Bengal sisters are total opposites. Terminito (Termie) usually weighs 15 pounds while her sister Finito (Funny Toes) is a lean muscular 8 pounds on a petite frame. Termie has a big bone structure while Toes has a tiny head and the sweetest little feet.

You just never know.....

My bengal (male)"Cosmo" is 5 months old and weighs 10 lbs. He is very slim and muscular ... he has grown at the rate of 2lbs a month. On average they normally grow 1lb a month but in some cases like mine, they will grow differently. So it all just depends on your cat and how u feed them.

Our little Jax is around the 5.8-6kg mark - never seems to leave this window no matter his feeding habits.

Star is currently about 4.2kg and we have to watch her like a hawk as she is a little gannet and will stuff herself on whatever she can her teeth into. (Have yet to find food that she wont eat).

Oh dear Mummy is in TROUBLE!

Weighed my little princess today and instead of being on the better side of 4.3kg, she is 5.1!!! uh-oh looks like my baby is joining me on my diet.

It's just so hard when one is a garbage disposal unit and the other is totally self-regulating!
