I was just wondering how often it is necessary to worm, de-flea, and de-mite indoor cats that do not have any of those things in the first place. I know they can be brought in from the outdoors, but should I be treating my cats even though they show no symptoms? Some recommend treating every month or every three months... but this seems to be rather frequent for putting chemicals on an animal that doesn't even need them.
My breeder uses Panacur with good success, but I am thinking about using Revolution because it covers more than just worms. Would doing this 1-2 times a year be adequate? I also might have a friend from the UK mail me some Thornit ear powder, as I've read lots of good things about that on this forum. Anyway I would love to hear your suggestions on the topic -- how often, which brands, etc. Thanks in advance!
