Has she been stressed lately?

To be on the safe side I'd take her to the vets for some anti-biotic eye drops if it gets any worse.....she probably will get over it without but for the sake of a small consultation fee it's worth it for the piece of mind you'll have.

Does she have access to other cats that she could have gotten into a fight and got her eyes scratched? If that's not the case, it could be that she got something into her eye that irritated it, like a stray hair. If it's neither scratches nor a foreign body in the eye, it might be a problem with her tear ducts or maybe allergies or an infection of some sort (e.g. chlamydia).

I do know that its not stress so it could be some allergy or something on those lines...... I am keeping a daily watch on it as it doesn't seem to be getting worse but I will take her to the vet if it does get worse. She hates going to the vet so I'm hoping it clears up on its own.

Ohh there is also no chance its been scratched by another cat as Izzy is the tiger of all cats when she comes into contact with another one
