Afternoon All,

We took Moshi and Indiana to the Vets yesterday for a free check up to see if they were ok to be castrated. The Vet said they were both fit and healthy and Moshi weighed in at 7.7 lbs and Indiana was 7.4lbs so she said they are not overweight they are all muscle so she said they will be big cats

Anyway we got 2 months worming tablets and they had an injection each of Flea Treatment that will last 6 months. It was £40 each for six months flea protection and £6 each for two months worm protection he worming cost so total cost was £92.00 is this reasonable?

We have booked them in for Friday to be castrated and Microchipped and that will cost a total of £66.34 each is this ok as well?

We are totally new to all this so would appreciate and feedback.

I agree that's expensive for the flea treatment but I guess an injection of Program (that's what it's called in France) IS expensive, more than Frontline (I don't really know, I never did one). But that way you won't have to think about it once a month . Next time you may put on some Frontline if you prefer.
6£ for 2 months for a cat for worms also seem expensive (that would be around 10€, where 6 or 8€ would be the price) but not so much.

The bill for neutering and microchipping seems right too (in France I think it would be more expensive : the chip alone costs 45-50€... and neutering 60€).
