Hey guys, I came home Fri afternoon to find my 3yr old male slightly limping on his right front. I see nothing wrong w/ the pad or claws, no swelling up the leg. He is not really letting me palpate it (not from sensitivity, just don't touch my leg- that goes for the left too, heck, and both hinds). He is still running after our female, still jumping on everything, including the tops of doors. His limp is more pronounced after he has been laying down for a bit, then it pretty much goes away. He holds the paw up too, not all the time, but enough. My bf is a vet and told me that strains and overextensions are common in the leg & shoulder and give it a week and see if it resolves itself. I called his vet to hear her opinion and she said bring him in. He has to be tranq'd to be examined, so I am a bit reluctant to bring him in right away. Any thoughts?
