Has anyone ever seen this in there Cat? I’m calling the vet to have blood work done. She is a stressed cat and shy. I don’t know how long it’s been there but I noticed it about 2 weeks ago. It seems she is over grooming. She is about 2 years old. Does this look like anything anyone else have seen before?

i haven't, but it is always a good idea to see a vet for a diagnosis and treatment. You never know if it is left untreated that it won't turn into something worse. I always err on the safe side and let the vet tell me "it's nothing." Even if it cost me the $40 examination fee.

Do I have the only vet in the world that allows you to just walk in with your pet at any time and see a vet? The vet office has four vets every day and one is assigned to the walk-ins. It is really convenient to not have to make an appointment and we never have to wait long to be seen. Plus, my bengal is good at hiding so I can find him to put him in the carrier -- and I'd hate to miss an appointment that way.

Nope no walkin’s at the clinic I go to, she is a Vet that only see cats. But I am actually Switching because she now doesn’t even have a vet available on Saturdays. SMH!

We also have vets here that specialize in cats only, but Raiden's vet is just down the street and not only convenient, but they are great vets. We also have several 24/7 emergency vets and two have ICU's for pets. Most metropolitan cities have them. My DSH goes to a different vet (since I don't really own him, his owner moved away and couldn't take him, so I take care of him for her) and they do walk-ins, too. It's just really convenient. Naturally, I can request an appointment, but so much easier to pick a day and go. I'm usually there when they open.

I've gone to probably 10 different clinics, in 3 different states over the years and all of them took walk-ins. How could they not? And yea, not being open on Saturdays would be a deal-breaker for me too, but once again, I've never encountered a vet that didn't offer Sat hours. They'd go broke if they did.

Unfortunately, the Saturday hours are shorter than their weekday hours, but at least they are open. Raiden's internal medicine vet is part of an emergency practice and they are open 24/7, 365 days a year, and they are busy!
