I am so over-cautious. With something like that, I'm off to the vet to have it checked out. Thankfully, our vet is 2 miles down the road. The most important thing is that the bleeding has stopped! I'm not sure when kittens lose their baby teeth -- but it may be like humans. The baby tooth comes out and there is some blood. And, blood tends to expand in fabric so a tiny drop can turn into a large blob. I'd try and do a better job of checking out his mouth (I know that's hard with a cat). I hope it's nothing serious.
