Hi Everyone,
I did my very first Tica show last weekend at the Spotica Club's show in Bracknell. It certainly was an exciting experience and I must have gone through every emotion possible.
I was delighted when he managed to get more than enough points and a final to qualify as a Tica Champion Alter and I am now the very proud owner of the first and only Bengal in the UK to be titled with all three UK showing organisations. Last year he achieved the title of Premier with Fife and this January achieved the title of Premier with GCCF.
Ziggi behaved perfectly as usual, despite the three days away from home, which included two days in a hotel. One of the judges, Thomas Anderson, nearly smothered him to death with kisses!!
It was a great show, very well run and surprisingly relaxed considering that you have to keep your eye on the ball the whole time.
The cat agility pen was put up and after all his judging was finished I let Ziggi have a leg stretch in it. After 20 minutes he had mastered two of the five obstacles but has decided not to pursue cat agility as a new career when he retires from showing after I informed him that the record for the whole course is under 7 seconds!
