Illinois is darned cold in the winter and the Windy City (Chicago) lives up to it's name. I live 90 miles NW of Chicago, easy run down the toll road. In the summer it can get damned hot, especially in August but mostly summer is 80's plus and higher temps than the UK can last all the way into October a lot of the time.

Ren.. you could do.. Slavess Bengals go on tour! Ahhh we can dream. And I am with you.. couple of million so I could build a shelter to take the cases Animal Services euthanize through lack of funds.

Is Illinois tornado area? I've always fancied seeing a real life tornado LOL! I'm probably in the completely wrong part of the country, I'm not great on American geography

It is! Technically we are in Tornado Alley, we don't tend to get them in the City though because Rockford is in a valley. But they do touch down in surrounding areas. Hubby fancies being a storm chaser sometime and loves to watch the shows.

Yay! OK I'm coming to visit you in tornado season & me & James can go out storm chasing
Perhaps I best go & do a show with Julie in NC first, in case we do manage to find a tornado LOL!

No lottery win tonight...there's always the next one
