WOW.. my friends Mom the Cat Show Judge has emailed me several times with hints and tips and asked if I would like to borrow her show curtains!!!! They are green and white.. WOULD I???? I thanked her very much and said I really would. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. My Sakura is going to look like a Queen.. I like this lady already.

OK sorry to disappoint but my groomer came early (tonight) but I was thrilled because we are expecting snow tomorrow. And I was rushed so I forgot the camera but in any case me and Michelle were wayyy too busy with Sakura.

Saki actually purred while being groomed, she really enjoyed it. But the bath was something else, this is NOT a Bengal that likes water. I am sure they must have heard her yelling at us at the other end of the street! I was hanging on for dear life while Michelle got efficiently through the process as soon as she could. Sakura tolerated the drying quite well.. a little bit of protest but Michelle was quite pleased with her.

At the end I asked Michelle how much, I knew on her website she charged $60. She said to me her normal charge is $60 but seen as Sakura is going to be a show cat for the weekend $20! I was stunned! This is for a mobile groomer btw, she comes to the house with her own trailer. She even gave me a lesson on what my 3 grooming brushes are for and how to use them properly and how to cut Saki's nails. And after all that she finished Saki off with a really good conditioning spray.

People are being so kind.

Earlier tonight hubby and I went and got a green soft throw for Saki's bed and 3 bath rugs in ivory color for the grooming table and the bottom of her cage. I also got her 3 color co-ordinated catnip mice to throw in there to keep her amused LOL.

Sakura looks gorgeous, somehow her colors look brighter and pop more, she is now hogging the heating vent and cleaning herself, she obviously thinks we did not do a good enough job!

Hopefully next time I post on this subject it will be end of day one of show day Saturday evening.
