Who is going to the Bengal cat club show of GB 3rd & 4th of October? We are planning on going with 3 bengals need another Stirdipen

We are hoping to come along as spectators. Does anyone know how we go about this? Do we need to buy tickets from anywhere or do you buy on the door? does anyone know how much it is just to spectate? Can find loads of info if you want to show but not to go and watch !

We will need two adult tickets and a child, bit of a treck for us but it will be worth it !

I'm not sure either Fifi, we are going to spectate on Sunday so if anyone has any info about buying tickets that would be great. Hope we get to meet some forum members, you'll have to wear a red carnation!! Selina

I would love to come see all the beautiful cats and meet you all but it would be nearly a 4 hour journey one way!! Hopefully there will be one closer to me in the future. x

Hi Selina,

A congress is a kind of specialist class that judges just a subset of cats that have entered the show. Common congresses are ‘male’, ‘female’ or ‘breed specific’. At the BCCGB show there will be 3x Bengal Congresses (Kitten, Adult & Alter).

The difference between a congress and a normal class is that when a judge has to pick his/her top 10 cats for the final, (s)he will only be choosing from the subset of cats. i.e. all the cats in a Bengal congress final will be Bengals. All the cats in a female congress final will be female etc…
