hi jo, welcome to the forum & congrats on your new bengal
TICA shows are usually over 2 days (sometimes just 1), but you don't have to do both days, you can choose either the saturday or sunday if you want to.
the show flyer (usually available online via the website of whichever club is holding the show) will have details of local hotels etc.
does the breeder of your kitten show? it's much easier going along to your first one with somebody who knows the ropes, but failing that have a browse through the threads in this show section of the forum. there are quite a few threads already about how to do your first show, how to prepare, how to enter, what to expect etc etc.
there is a sticky at the top of the section with all the show dates for upcoming ones in the UK, once you're ready to go for it, ask on here & you may find others are attending who would be happy to help you on the day.
TICA shows don't require the cat to be registered with them for the first show, but you must register to gain any points which you have earnt at the show & before you attend any further shows.
GCCF are always only 1-day shows, always on saturdays & you cannot enter if the cat isn't registered with them.
you don't have to be a member of any clubs to enter shows.
which is your kitten registered with, GCCF or TICA?
