hi alec, upload your pics to either tinypic or photobucket then you can copy & paste the links so that they show on here. there is a guide in the gallery section. no website needed & it's free to join either of those sites.

fingers crossed for your first show! people tend to be very friendly & i'm sure they will help you to work out what you are doing on the day, don't be afraid to ask

Well, after Keeto was SO naughty at the last show, (thank you Helen for being so supportive!), he will now be resting from Tica for the next few months. So I’ve decided instead to take my big boy Ziggi and we look forward to seeing you all at the show!

Poor Keeto xxx He really wasn't in the mood was he.

Glad he hasn't put you off though - really looking forward to seeing Ziggi again though.

Looking forward to meeting all of you xx

that was the show at newbury?. i hope youre ok. i was spectating. male cats can get real grumpy. my last moggy was 14 years old, he would sit on my lap, purring until i stroked him , then he`d attack me.

Whoops.....I was getting you muddled up with the actress. Sorry Hazel!!
Yes, it's a real pity when a cat gets grumpy at shows but little Keeto is just the most perfect puss in every other aspect. Travel, home, dogs & my other cats, health, staying in a Travelodge and also very happy in his own pen at a show. He's also a very good cat, and behaves very well and I feel very lucky to have him.
I'm hoping when he gets past his teenage 'Kevin and Perry' phase that he will settle into Tica but that's always the risk you take when getting a kitten. I shall be taking him to some GCCF shows however, as it's more of a gentle experience for them I think and as I'm predominantly a GCCF shower I hope that he will be happier with that.
Tica is a very arduous weekend for cats and I think a lot is asked of them what with being hauled in and out of pens for most of the day. Ziggi is a very tolerant cat but at the ripe old age of 8 he is so used to his afternoon siesta that even he might get fed up with it. His way of protesting when the judge puts him back into the holding pen is to sit down in his pen with his back to the judge - and no matter how many things are dangled above him to get his interest he just won't budge!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to wish you all luck for the show. Do post pictures if you get any. I think I may visit today just to spectate, trying to build up the courage to show Taiko (my 7month brown spotted) someday soon. He is such an attention seeker, think he would suit it!

Kate xx

Good luck to everyone going to the show tomorrow - unfortunately due to Rosie needing me I will be unable to attend, I am gutted but Rosie comes first xx
