Whoops.....I was getting you muddled up with the actress. Sorry Hazel!!
Yes, it's a real pity when a cat gets grumpy at shows but little Keeto is just the most perfect puss in every other aspect. Travel, home, dogs & my other cats, health, staying in a Travelodge and also very happy in his own pen at a show. He's also a very good cat, and behaves very well and I feel very lucky to have him.
I'm hoping when he gets past his teenage 'Kevin and Perry' phase that he will settle into Tica but that's always the risk you take when getting a kitten. I shall be taking him to some GCCF shows however, as it's more of a gentle experience for them I think and as I'm predominantly a GCCF shower I hope that he will be happier with that.
Tica is a very arduous weekend for cats and I think a lot is asked of them what with being hauled in and out of pens for most of the day. Ziggi is a very tolerant cat but at the ripe old age of 8 he is so used to his afternoon siesta that even he might get fed up with it. His way of protesting when the judge puts him back into the holding pen is to sit down in his pen with his back to the judge - and no matter how many things are dangled above him to get his interest he just won't budge!
