Toddled off to Goulburn yesterday for the local ag-show which included a cat show (for those who don't know, Goulburn is labelled as Australia's first inland city and is located about 200km south west of Sydney). We were a bit apprehensive as this was a "closed judging style" show. We have only been showing Sam for about 12months and so far all the shows have been "open style" and we weren't sure how he would behave without us nearby. Anyway, to cut a long story short, he was a bit hissy at first but received best in breed in both rings, 2nd + Best Pet in Ring One and 3rd in Ring Two. We were very happy with the Best Pet as that was based predominantly on temperatment. All in all a good result for the day. Here's some pics:
