Ugh, the entries for the show I was debating entering are closing at the end of the week (I'm not in the UK so not sure if the not telling which show apply!), and I am procrastinating BIG time.

I know I should just go for it, as the kitties are still young so will get used to it, they are in good shape and are happy and relaxed being handled. And I have to start somewhere, and this how is local...

Can someone reassure me that I can manage to show the 2 of them on my own (at best i will have my 6 year old daughter there too). This is not like the GCCF where you go out of the room, you actually have to take your cats to the judging area etc.

Just go for it! There must be other first timers too. Don´t be afraid to ask staff if you are "lost".

I have shown my cats only in FiFe shows and here you must/cat take your cats to judges table and take care of your cat all the time. I like it, because you hear everything a judge tells about your cat. And after he/she is ready you get written report too.

In my opinion, if you are going to shoe your cat, you should, like you said, start young. And if the show is held near your home, it´s super!

go for it, in my experience other exhibitors are (mostly) very friendly & more than happy to help you along the way. it should be a fun day out!
