I could be wrong, but I believe it is required for them to be spayed or neutered for sanctioned shows, but championship shows have classes for both spayed/non spayed neutered/non neutered cats.

Its just the non-pedigree and pet-pedigree classes that have to be neutered. All the other shows have classes for cats (entire), kittens or neuters.
If you have a look at the stickie at the top of this section there is a link to my 'GUIDE TO SHOWING BENGAL CATS' which should give you all the information you need.

Should be working, it works for me. Anyway, try the home page on my website, you should be able to get to it from that link. Let me know if you can't.

Hi Susan,
Yes, Lancemoat is correct, in Tica neuters and spays are called alters. My guide only refers to the GCCF format of showing only which I personally consider to be the best and gentlest way to ease a cat or kitten into showing.
The timing couldn’t be better for you as the Bengal Cat Club have their annual show on the 23rd of this month. It would be a great show for you to visit as a first timer, especially if you are thinking of entering! The closing date is this coming Tuesday but I’m sure that late entries for a further week will be accepted, so why not enter???! :D
If you want any help or advice on how to enter please feel free to PM me and I’ll help you all I can.
Otherwise, if you want to visit the show, it’s held near Swindon at Cricklade Leisure Centre. Open to the public from 12.30.
Annie
